Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
This policy explains how Autobourse ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use the Autobourse marketplace platform. Questions can be sent to office@autobourse.com.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, business email, password credentials handled by our auth provider.
- Company data: legal name, registration and VAT identifiers, addresses, activities.
- Verification documents you upload for company verification.
- Marketplace content: buy requests, listings, bids, reservations and messages.
- Billing data: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe, not by us.
- Technical data: log data, IP address, device and browser information.
2. Why we use it
To create and secure accounts, verify companies, operate marketplace features, process platform service payments, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases
Performance of a contract (providing the platform), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), legal obligation (accounting, tax) and consent where required, for example for optional cookies or marketing email.
4. Sharing
Company profiles, listings and requests are visible to other platform users as designed by the product. Confidential terms such as bid prices are shown only to the counterparties involved. We also use service providers acting on our instructions, including hosting and database infrastructure, authentication, email delivery and Stripe for payments. Autobourse is a company under TOBC and its platform was developed by TOBC Tech, a division of TOBC; group entities may process data on our behalf for platform operation and support.
5. International transfers
Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
Account and company records are kept while the account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. Verification documents are deleted when they are no longer needed for the verification level held.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact office@autobourse.com to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We apply access controls, encrypted transport and row-level database authorisation so companies can only reach their own confidential records. No online service can be guaranteed fully secure; report suspected issues to office@autobourse.com.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the platform before they take effect.
